Tanikely, or "little land" in Malagachy, is an island protected as it is home to fragile seabed. You will find in this marine reserve a rich and colorful coral fauna easily visible a few meters deep with a simple mask and snorkel. The lighthouse of 1908 offers a panoramic view of Nosy Be, Nosy Komba and the mainland, especially at sunset.
On the island of Nosy Komba, the village of Ampangorina welcomes you with canoes, their tamed lemurs and their beautiful embroiderers white tablecloths. Many small shops sell wood crafts made locally.
